Only one week from today and we'll be in Belize! We all went to the travel clinic today for some final shots and travel advice. The girls were relieved to find out they didn't actually need any more shots, but really enjoyed watching mom and dad get them. ;-)
I've been tracking news on Belize for over a month now, it's always interesting to see what comes up. Here's an interesting discussion thread on the conditions of the road we'll be taking to the resort (at least the last 20 miles or so). My favorite quote is "potholes big enough to swallow an elephant". A couple of other blogs that are pretty regularly updated with interesting information on Belize are Belize-y Livin' and Images of Belize.
