Fall Orchard

I suspect this may be one of the final days of fallish weather. We saw some hard frost this week and my morning glories on the arbor are now dead and brown. But our huge maple tree behind the house is still in full color. So to try to absorb some more fall we made our annual excursion to the apple orchard. Each year we try to do this as its so much fun. Grandma Nichols was in town so she came along. Emma was pouting a bit on the way out that she was too old to go to the orchard. And Kate said it was going to be sooo much fun! Well Kate was right and emma set her attitude aside and had a great time. I've posted some picture from the day and some pictures from the past 7 years of going to the apple orchard. Its so fun to see how the girls have grown! We also learned that Emma is now taller then Grandma Nichols! Ha.. Emma wasn't shy about pointing that fact out!
