Emma came home this afternoon and said 'Mom.. what am I going to wear to the concert tonight?'... Huh? It turns out she has a school music concert tonight and we didn't know about it! So, after a mad rush to cancel a session review and Darin canceling his city meeting, we made it happen! The girls school is a Arts Magnet school where arts are emphasized across the subjects. Each year the kids get to choose two classes they would like to take for a six week period. Emma picked drawing and choir. Her drawing of a flower was displayed on the program that everyone received at the concert (we were so proud!).
